Overview of World Mental Health Day activities

The marathon of events for World Mental Health Day, which is celebrated on October 10, lasted almost the whole month for us and reached about 1,700 people.

In October, with the support of the USAID PHS R&R project, 37 events were held in 20 communities in 8 focus regions. Among the events, 12 trainings and 9 lectures, 3 master classes, as well as training sessions and workshops were held during regional events of various formats: stress resistance forums, exhibitions, conferences, etc.

Main themes of the events focused on ensuring mental health during the war, MH at the workplace and tools to reduce stress and anxiety, finding sources of stress resistance.

The main target groups of the activities were:

  • community members affected by war;
  • personnel of the RCDCs;
  • PHC healthcare workers;
  • providers of social and educational services;
  • students and adolescents.

The events were attended by 1720 people.
