A new meeting of the Mind-Body Medicine community of practice

From July 31 to August 2, a community of practice meeting was held in Yaremche, Ivano-Frankivsk Region, titled “Mind-Body Medicine: Experience Exchange and Professional Development”.

Nearly 50 Mind-Body Medicine facilitators and coordinators from nine regions attended this event. These professionals, trained by PHS R&R, have led groups within their communities under this program. Over the course of three days, they were inspired by the outcomes of their work and learned new psychological tools and self-help techniques to prevent emotional burnout.

Thanks to a dedicated team of trainers, the participants acquired new skills, including mastering emotional responses and practicing self-regulation tools in crisis situations.

A highlight was the warm online meeting with Dr. James Gordon, director of the Center for Mind-Body Medicine in Washington, D.C., and author of the Mind-Body Medicine Program.
