The XX ISA World Congress of Sociology

We present the results of the work of our Institute’s research team at the XX World Congress of the International Sociological Association, which is being held in Melbourne (Australia) from June 25 to July 1, 2023, in a hybrid format – in-person and online.

Our scientist Iryna Zaviriukha gave reports on the topics “How Covid-19 Pandemic Has Tempered Ukrainians to Effectively Conduct Sociological Health Research in the Context of War and Any Future Crises” and “The Willingness of Older People with HIV to Live and Clinicians to Work When a “Normal Life” Is Stopped”.

The 20th Anniversary World Congress of Sociology is dedicated to the problems of the global rise of authoritarianism, populism, xenophobia and racism, as well as finding solutions for all of these issues, including by dint of sociological science.
