    He obtained his degree in General Practice from Odessa State Medical University in 1997. He continued his education at the same university, completing his internship in Dermatology and Venereology. He later specialized in Health Care Organization and Management at Uzhhorod National University and obtained a Master’s degree in Management from Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy for Public Administration under the President of Ukraine. His education also includes training at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and professional development at Emory University in the United States.<\/p>\n

    Dr. Neduzhko has extensive experience in research on HIV infection and public health, including the development and implementation of HIV recency surveillance systems. He has investigated various aspects of HIV prevention and treatment, including the evaluation of the implementation and effectiveness of new testing methods, epidemic modeling, and the study of quality assurance systems in the field of HIV and other infectious diseases prevention and treatment. He is a member of the working groups of the Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, responsible for monitoring and evaluating strategic information in the field of public health, as well as prevention, testing, care, and support in the fight against HIV.<\/p>\n

    Dr. Dvoriak, MD, PhD, Doctor of Medical Sciences, is the narcologist of the highest category, the author of 3 monographs on drug and alcohol abuse and of more than 60 scientific articles. He is the author of the National standards and protocol for treatment of HIV-positive people who inject drugs, which was approved by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, as well as of the Guidelines for the treatment of opioid dependence with opioid agonists. He has over 40 years of experience with addiction medicine and psychiatry and has worked in the field of HIV\/AIDS research since 2000.<\/p>\n

    Dr. Dvoriak created the first Minnesota Model treatment program for Alcohol and Drug Dependence on the (12-step program) in Ukraine. After completing of his education at Johns Hopkins University as the H. H. Humphrey fellow on Addiction Medicine and HIV-prevention, he started working for UNDP. There he implemented a pilot project \u201cApplied Human Rights\u201d, within which in 2004 the medication-assisted treatment (MAT) with buprenorphine was introduced in Ukraine for the first time in 2 addiction clinics.<\/p>\n

    Together with the colleagues, Dr. Dvoriak established the Ukrainian Institute on Public Health Policy (UIPHP) in 2003 and the European Institute of Public Health Policy (EIPHP) in 2016.<\/p>\n

    He has also worked internationally on a number of projects in collaboration with WHO, UNODC, UNAIDS, Clinton Foundation, USAID, CDC and local NGOs in Ukraine \u2013 including International HIV\/AIDS Alliance in Ukraine and the All-Ukrainian Network of people living with HIV. During the last years, he has also been working as a consultant for UNODC in Central Asia and prepared a 5-year plan for development of opioid maintenance treatment in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan.<\/p>\n

    Since 2011, Dr. Dvoriak has been a Governing Council member of International AIDS Society (IAS) being responsible for the European region. During 2011-2012, as a fellow at NIDA CTN INVEST Program and spent a year with his mentor professor George Woody at University of Pennsylvania, studying the drug treatment and HIV prevention among people who inject drugs (PWIDs). In the past 10 years, Dr. Dvoriak has worked with Dr. Altice and the Yale University research team, as well as with his colleagues at International HIV\/AIDS Alliance in Ukraine to provide MAT in Ukraine and to develop new models of integrated care for PWIDs.     Dr. Karagodina graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk Medical Institute with diploma in general medicine, she passed Internship in Psychiatry and was trained in several educational programs: \u201cSocial Work and Social Policy Education\u201d (the School of Social Work of the National University \u201cKyiv-Mohyla Academy\u201d in collaboration with Tempus\u2013Tacis Program); \u201cHealth technology assessment, Social marketing\u201d (Swiss Tropical Institute, Lugano, Askona, Switzerland); Summer Fellowship Program in Rational-Emotive & Cognitive-Behavioral Theory and Techniques, (Albert Ellis Institute, New York, USA).<\/p>\n

    Dr. Karagodina has large experience in medical practice, consulting and expert evaluation. She worked in many local and international research and practice oriented projects aimed at studying mental health problems, identifying needs and providing medical and social assistance to various vulnerable population groups, and preventing suicides.<\/p>\n

    She was a member of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine scientific and methodical commission on social work speciality; an expert of the International \u201cRenaissance\u201d Foundation Program \u201cInitiatives in Public Health\u201d; a participant in the development of \u201cThe Concept of the National Mental Health Program in Ukraine for the period until 2030\u201c. She is a member of the Ethics Commission in the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine. She is the Head of the Department of Social Work and Applied Psychology, Academy of Labor, Social Relations and Tourism, Kyiv.<\/p>\n

    Dr. Andriy Karachevskyy, MD, PHD, is Psychiatrist, Psychotherapeutist, Trainer and Supervisor on Behavioral and Cognitive Therapy; Associate Professor at National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, Department of Psychology; Associate Professor at Shupyk National Medical Academy of Post-Graduate Education; Vice President of the Ukrainian Association of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy (\u0421BT).<\/p>\n

    Graduated from Ukrainian State Medical University, specialization Psychiatry. Worked as a Senior Researcher at Ukrainian Research Institute of Social and Forensic Psychiatry; Clinical Psychiatrist in Kyiv Psychiatry Hospital; Assistant of the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology, National Medical University; Mental Health Expert at WHO and at Ministry of Health of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

    He has been qualified as a cognitive-behavioral therapist and as a supervisor-trainer in CBT according to UICBT accreditation standards and to the criteria of the European Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (EABCT) on good practice in CBT.<\/p>\n

    Since 2013, Dr. Andriy Karachevskyy has provided volunteer psychological and psychiatric assistance during the escalation of the confrontation on the Maidan. He is one of the founders of the Ukrainian Association of Specialists in Coping with the Consequences of Psycho-Traumatic Events, established to improve crisis counseling and psychotrauma therapy in Ukraine. In 2014 completed a program for supervisors on traumatic stress therapy at PTSD Research Center at Yale University (USA), and a ToT program on \u201cTrauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy\u201d (TF-CBT). He is a founder and chairman of the board of the Center for Mental Health and Trauma Therapy \u201cIntegration\u201d, that has provided psychotherapy to victims of Russian aggression since 2016.<\/p>\n

    Dr. Andriy Karachevskyy is an active member of the Ukrainian National Mental Health Reform Group (created under a mandate of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine) and the WHO CO in Ukraine. He facilitated national discussions on the development of the Concept on Mental Health Care in Ukraine for period till 2030.<\/p>\n

    Dr. Karachevskyy has authored 46 scientific papers, 4 methodical papers.     Tetiana Kiriazova graduated from I.I.Mechnikov Odessa National University; in 1992 got her PhD degree in Neurophysiology. She has more than 20-year experience in research and training in the field of HIV, TB and addictions in Ukraine and internationally.<\/p>\n

    As 2009-2010 H.H.Humphrey Fellow at \u201cHIV\/AIDS Policy and Prevention\u201d program at Emory University and the 2012-2013 NIDA INVEST Research Fellow at Boston Medical Center, Dr. Kiriazova received specialized training in HIV and addiction research and qualitative research methods, including Fellow Immersion Training in Addiction Medicine at Boston University.<\/p>\n

    Since 2014, Dr. Kiriazova continues her research in the field of public health. Her main scientific interests are improving outcomes along HIV, addiction and TB treatment cascade.     Kostyantyn Dumchev conducts research in the areas related to substance use and HIV\/AIDS, including epidemiology, estimation, and program effectiveness. His previous experience includes the transfer of behavioral treatments for substance abuse to Ukrainian public clinics, evaluation of Medication Assisted Treatment, studies on new trends in drug scene and determinants of HIV status in people who use drugs.\u00a0Dumchev is a long time member of Intersectoral Monitoring and Evaluation Workgroup, overseeing research and evaluation activities related to HIV response in Ukraine. His main current projects are the HPTN protocol on effectiveness of HIV treatment in people who use drugs, and the prospective study of HIV incidence among clients of harm reduction programs in Ukraine.<\/p>\n

    Oleksandr Zeziulin received his MD from Vinnitsya National Medical University, and MPH from University of Oklahoma Health Science Center.<\/p>\n

    Oleksandr Zeziulin has over 10 years of domestic and international experience conducting various public health programs and research projects targeted at vulnerable populations suffering from HIV and substance use disorders. Being a part of various multidisciplinary teams including researchers, physicians, leading HIV experts, decision makers, educationalists, psychologists and social workers he has contributed to deepening the knowledge about drug abuse, HIV, TB, social stigma and many other issues faced by the HIV key populations that prevent linkage to care.<\/p>\n

    In the past, working as a Senior HIV Prevention Project Management Specialist he provided overall programmatic and technical leadership to the USAID Mission on HIV prevention and PWID programs. In addition, Dr. Zeziulin served as an activity manager\/technical advisor for USAID\u2019s HIV technical support projects and supported program monitoring and evaluation of HIV prevention, care and treatment.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

    In 2001 Olena Makarenko graduated from the Zaporizhzhya State Medical University as a Medical Specialist, in 2003 \u2013 she had an internship at the Kiev Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education named after P.L. Shupik on the specialty “Obstetrics and Gynecology”. In 2003 \u2013 2006 she studied in a clinical residency and postgraduate study at the department of obstetrics, gynecology and perinatology of NMAPE named after P.L. Shupik.<\/p>\n

    In 2006 she defended her Ph.D. thesis “Prevention of obstetric and perinatal complications in women with placental insufficiency with prior gestation”. Worked as an assistant of department of obstetrics, gynecology and perinatology of NMAPE named after P.L. Shupik.<\/p>\n

    In 2001 Iryna graduated from the National Pirogov Medical University, Vinnytsia and got her MD degree. Iryna was trained in the Clinical Residency of the National Institute of Postgraduate Training MDRF with the specialization in Anesthesiology and Reanimation based on the M. Burdenko Central Military Clinical Hospital, Moscow, RF.<\/p>\n

    She has medical practice as an anesthesiologist and reanimatologist in Thoracic Surgery Department, Reproductive Health Department and Infections Intensive Care Department.<\/p>\n

    In the period from 2012-2015 she was involved in clinical trials as a Clinical Research Associate in Neurology, Psychiatry and Oncology. She was engaged in a number of projects in cooperation with Yale University, the West-East European Partnership Initiative on HIV, Viral Hepatitis and Tuberculosis (WEEPI Foundation), WHO in Ukraine, Johns Hopkins University in the USA, 100% Life.<\/p>\n

    Myroslava is the \u0441oordinator of EIPHP projects.     Since 2016, she has been collaborating with the Ukrainian Institute on Public Health Policy. The main focus areas included research on preventing the spread of HIV both in the public sector and in places of detention. She actively participates in a project aimed at integrating treatment for mental disorders in methadone clinics in Ukraine.<\/p>\n

    At EIPHP Nataliia is the coordinator of the several research projects aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of new HIV testing methods among various key population groups, assessing the performance of a community-based mental health and psychosocial support organizational care delivery model, and improving the accessibility of mobile medical services in communities.<\/p>\n
